Mary Smith is an incoming freshman at Ave Maria University. She is from Louisville, KY and played high school basketball for Mercy Academy.

During her high school career, Mary was a three time member of the All Region team, All District Team, and Academic All State. Her team won a District and Region title her senior year making it to the Elite Eight at the State Tournament. She also received the KHSAA Sweet 16 Academic Scholarship her senior year. She will be an incoming freshman at Ave Maria University, which is right outside of Naples, Florida.
